How to start a successful Instagram account

Updated: Apr 7, 2023
Want a successful Instagram account? I got you ;)
For starting a successful Instagram account you need to have an aim, a purpose, a goal.
You don't have goals for your account? Let's create them by answering these questions:
-What is your ideal audience?
-How many followers do you want to gain after 3 months?
-What is the purpose of your posts/account?
-What are you going to give people?
These 4 questions are wonderful starters for your content. The first question "What is your ideal audience?" Is a question that would give you a more focused view about your content and your audience, this is because if you are sure and want to direct your posts to a certain people so you can apply hashtag and write keywords that relate to your audience. Another great idea is following accounts that you know your audience would reach. All of this can make you have a wonderful supportive community with people that share the same interest as you.
"How many followers do you want to gain after 3 months?" This question makes you have goals. Also 3 months is equivalent to an average of approximately 90 days and 12 weeks. This is a lot of time and it can lead you to maybe find a pattern in what people like and for observing what content you post is the most successful. Believe it or not you can also find a pattern in your posting hours because if a 67% of your followers wakes up at 7:00am and open Instagram look at your post and give it like your post would tend to appear on the people's fyp at 7:00am every morning. This can make your post kind of a daily routine for the people who open Instagram and see your post every time .
"What is the purpose of your post/account?" This question would make you have a more secure and a better point of view of your content. Answers for this type of question can depend on the different aims and purpose of your account. For example my account (m00n_r1se) was made by me to increase my confidence by posting things i related to or that really made me feel better. So i thought maybe what inspires me and the things that I relate to are also the same as other people. So my aim was to post content that I like and try to make it reach the people that think the same as me and that have things in common with me.
"What are you going to give people?" This question is a very specific question depending on what your account is for. Some people may respond to this question by saying that they would offer a product like maybe a new brand or they are influencers and they have their own brands or they make publicity to bigger brands or smaller brands. Other people say that they just don't offer any specific content and they just have the account for fun and to post things of their interest. On the other hand there are also some people that want to create a space for people to grow and succeed by making them have an enormous mental glow up. Now a days in 2023 some people have public account for help people an show them how to be successful and make them self more aware of toxic traits and to work more on self-love and self-validation (does accounts are my fav btw jsjsjs).
So before starting a future successful Instagram account or during your journey with a public account ask yourself this questions. Maybe they can give you a more clear view about your content, and remember if it doesn't work or you want to change everything you can always start again ;)
